HOW TO WEAR A SALWAR KAMEEZ
Wearing a Salwar kameez is very easy. Infact it is due to this ease of wearing, the salwar kameez has gain so much popularity. Actually it is as easy as wearing a Jeans and Tshirt.
These are the steps, we are starting from the bottom first.
- Select the salwar you want to wear and wear it just like your jeans or trousers. A Nada (draw-sting) is usually provided with the salwar. Tighten it according to your comfort and tie a Knot.
- Select the pairing kameez and wear it just like a T-Shirt. There may be a push button or hook on the backside. Just hook it or button it and it’s done.
- Most women prefer a dupatta with a salwar kameez. Match a beautiful dupatta and you are ready to go.
[Note: if the material of the top (kameez) is itchy or very thin you might have to opt for a lining (Astar). This lining (inner fabric) or Astar must be of a soft comfortable material and exactly the same color of the kameez. An ill-matched combination does not look good and may ruin look for the day]
